Video Roll Terms of Service

1. Definitions and Interpretation

  • "VideoRoll" or "the Service" refers to the browser extension and related services developed and operated by the VideoRoll Team.
  • "User" or "you" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service, or any company or legal entity on whose behalf such individual accesses or uses the Service.
  • "Pro Member" refers to users who have paid for access to VideoRoll's advanced features and services.
  • "Third-Party Services" refers to services or content provided by third parties that may be accessed or integrated through the Service (such as third-party login, etc.).

2. User Notice

  • Please read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy before using the Service.
  • By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service immediately.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not use the Service for any illegal activities or to infringe upon the rights of others.

3. Usage Restrictions

To ensure fair use and system security, you must not access, call, or use the Service in any programmatic or automated manner, including but not limited to:

  • No automated access: Without prior written permission from VideoRoll, you may not use any program, script, bot, crawler, scraper, or other automated means to access, query, call, monitor, or interact with the Service in any form.
  • No bulk or abnormal requests: You may not use the Service at abnormal frequency, beyond reasonable use, or in ways that bypass normal access mechanisms. This includes but is not limited to bulk requests via automated scripts, simulating user actions, or abusing interface resources.
  • No unauthorized interface use: Except for interfaces or APIs publicly provided or authorized by VideoRoll, you may not probe, call, reverse-engineer, analyze, copy, or use any non-public interface, API, or underlying system logic.
  • No embedding or resale: Without prior written permission from VideoRoll, you may not embed the Service into other applications, systems, or websites (including but not limited to SDKs, APIs, or proxy services), or provide access to third parties.

If you violate any of the above, VideoRoll may suspend or terminate your account or access immediately and reserves the right to pursue legal remedies.

4. Pro Membership

  • VideoRoll offers Pro Membership, which provides access to advanced features and exclusive benefits. Details are published on the official website or extension page.
  • Pro Membership is for personal use only and may not be transferred, rented, or shared with others.
  • Fees, benefits, and validity periods are subject to the information published at the time of purchase.

5. Refund Policy

  • Monthly Pro Membership: Refunds may be requested within 24 hours of purchase, with a reason provided.
  • Annual Pro Membership: Refunds may be requested within 72 hours of purchase, with a reason provided.
  • Refunds are generally not available after these periods or if the membership features have been heavily used.
  • To request a refund, contact support@videoroll.app. We will process your request within 7-10 business days.

6. Intellectual Property

  • VideoRoll and all related trademarks, interfaces, code, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned by the VideoRoll Team.
  • No individual or organization may copy, modify, distribute, sell, or use any part of the Service for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • Content generated by users while using the Service remains the property of the user, but users must ensure that their content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

7. Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. VideoRoll makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • VideoRoll does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. VideoRoll does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any content provided through the Service.
  • VideoRoll is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss, or functional issues caused by network, device, or third-party service factors beyond our control.
  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their account information. Any loss resulting from user negligence is the user's sole responsibility.
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when uploading, managing, or downloading content via the Service. Any disputes arising from illegal or infringing content are the user's sole responsibility. VideoRoll assumes no responsibility for the legality, authenticity, or infringement of user-provided content. If user content violates applicable laws or third-party rights, VideoRoll may refuse to provide the Service or require the user to bear all liability and indemnify VideoRoll for any loss.
  • VideoRoll respects the intellectual property rights of all video platforms. The video download feature is intended solely for personal study, research, or non-commercial use. Users should decide whether to download videos based on the intellectual property policies of the respective platforms. By choosing to download a video, the user acknowledges and agrees to comply with the platform's intellectual property protection policies. Any legal liability arising from violations of platform policies or relevant laws and regulations is the user's sole responsibility, and VideoRoll assumes no liability.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the VideoRoll Team and its members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
  • If any liability arises from the Service, the maximum compensation shall not exceed the actual amount paid by the user for the Service.
  • VideoRoll and its suppliers shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, personal injury, or loss of privacy), whether arising from use or inability to use the Service, use of third-party software or hardware with the Service, or otherwise related to these Terms, even if VideoRoll or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you. In such jurisdictions, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. VideoRoll is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party.
  • Users should carefully read and agree to the terms and policies of any third-party service before use.

10. Changes and Termination

  • VideoRoll reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time as required by law or business needs. Changes will be announced via the extension or official website.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes are announced constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the Service immediately.

Termination

  • VideoRoll may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to your breach of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service shall cease immediately.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • The formation, execution, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit to a court with jurisdiction in the location of the VideoRoll Team.

12. Severability and Waiver

Severability

  • If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified and interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by law so as to accomplish the objectives of the original provision, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

  • Failure by either party to exercise any right or to require performance of any obligation under these Terms shall not affect that party's right to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter. Waiver of one breach shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach.
